Research
For decades, the Institut Dr. Schrader Creachem GmbH has been developing new methods for testing the efficacy of cosmetic products on human skin and hair. The focus is less on the development of devices, which are preferably developed according to our specifications, and more on the development of the test procedures based on them.
Galenics
Customers are advised on galenic applications. This can involve any cosmetic product form.
Testing Skin
Institut Dr. Schrader Creachem GmbH deals with efficacy and compatibility tests of cosmetic products on human skin. In this segment, cosmetic products are applied under practical conditions by persons who voluntarily make themselves available for product testing and are subsequently evaluated by scientists.
Testing Hair
Another field of work is in vivo and in vitro testing in the area of hair. In the institute’s own test salon, a wide variety of products intended for use on human hair are tested under practice-relevant conditions. In laboratory tests (in vitro), the effectiveness of hair cosmetic products is tested and scientifically evaluated.
Analysis
Cosmetic products for skin and hair are tested for value-giving ingredients, among other things. This involves quantifying the ingredients.
