For this test, hair tresses are irradiated with UV light with and without product treatment and then examined for chemiluminescence.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve heat damage, the hair tresses are treated with a hot flat iron. Following treatment the tresses are measured using induced chemiluminescence (ICL-H).
